ACTL (Advanced Core Training in Linguistics) is a generic training program for PhD students in Linguistics.
ACTL was founded in 2004 with a two-year start-up grant from the AHRC, but is now jointly funded by the University of Cambridge, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Kent, the University of Oxford, Queen Mary, University of London, SOAS, UCL and the University of York. The financial support of these institutions is hereby gratefully acknowledged.
In Year 2017-2018, we will have no Autumn School, unlike previous years, and have more courses at the Summer School. Please see the Summer School page for more details.
